An EQ spec'ed at a 60Hz shelving point can easily still be at full boost at 30Hz, while now slamming another octave of low bass at full power instead of half power at 60 as illustrated in my graph. I don't even have to roll inordinate amounts of bass back in on the Nav. I don't think reproducing the 30hz fundamental of your B string is either what you want, or what will sound good. It's mostly mud down there. The low B contains many harmonics and to my ear, the 50hz filter, along with adding some eq in at ~80-120 works out really well.

#1 Anybody know of some songs in this frequency range? I've looked through countless threads and peoples' ideas of low bass rarely goes into this range. (well, low 30's, yeah, but not so much in the 20's) And I'm talkin the original song, nothing chopped and/or screwed, and no bass testers. Some songs that I have with bass like this:

That might not sound like much of a difference below 30Hz, but it REALLY IS a big deal! Those frequencies below 30 Hz are the ones you FEEL rather than hear! These Subwoofers may be either Dynamic or Musical in design. But again, expect to have to go up in size (and price!) even MORE to get a Musical design which also has Bass extension that low.
